Provide quality care to people without regard to race, sex, religion, nationality, age, sexual orientation or disability.
Participate in training that is appropriate for our mission.
Conduct themselves in an appropriate and professional manner at all times. Respect will be given to the rights and feelings of other volunteers, patients, family members and any other persons who may come i contact with MRC members.
Maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding all patient’s personal and medical information. Failure to do so may result in immediate dismissal from the program.
Properly complete records and reports in a legible manner.
Work under a prearranged algorithm and abide by the chain of command set forth by that algorithm. Volunteers will report to, take direction from, and provide feedback to their direct supervisor.
NOT represent the SMC MRC unless authorized by the SMC MRC director.
DRESS CODE:
All SMC MRC personnel will wear photo identification provided by the program at all times during any activation or drill. This identification will be worn above the waistline and in such a way that it is easily visible.
All volunteers will dress in a neat and clean manner appropriate to the duties they are to perform. SMC MRC uniforms are to be worn for all drills, presentations, events, or emergencies. Footwear must be closed-toe and provide safe and secure footing.
DISCIPLINE:
A non-comprehensive list of actions that will result in immediate dismissal include criminal acts, insubordination, intentional indifference, negligence, theft, destruction of property, slander, or the use of drugs or alcohol.
All complaints will be reviewed by the SMC MRC director and steering committee.
